“ In the spring of 2024, I spent several weeks observing a fox family that had chosen an unconventional nesting site near a fishing farm. The mother would bring rabbits, fish, and food scraps to feed her cubs. Occasionally, the family would climb atop these small fishing containers, taking a moment to rest and survey their surroundings before retreating to their den to prepare for the bustling daytime hours.”
