FAQs

  • All levels of photography are welcome on our tours, beginners as well as professionals. The only criteria are that you have to have a passion for photography and have the energy and motivation to be on the go every day and night.

  • Temperature will range between 0°C to 12°C with wind and precipitation low. The average day is dry and calm with strong sun. meaning it can feel much warmer. The weather can be unpredictable with occasional rain showers, strong squalls and sometimes even snow.

  • It is possible that it gets dark enough to start seeing Northern lights from Late August

  • There is quite a variety of wildlife in Eastern Greenland but much of the wildlife is very elusive given the vastness of the landscape. We may see Polar bears, muskox or seals though sightings are not guaranteed. Other animals that roam the area are snow hares, arctic foxes wolves and narwhals. The more people looking out for animals the higher our chances are of spotting something interesting. So guests are very much encouraged to keep a good lookout.
